As the 2015 Political session kicked off I noticed Democrats and Republicans talking about the poor and poverty in the United States. Both parties are touting how this is one of their biggest priorities of the year and they have the solution to the problem. The Democrats are imposing additional Government assistance; The Republicans are imposing removing Government assistance and let the free market take over. Who is right?
Both parties have good points, but do they really want to solve the problem or is this a ploy to gain voting advantage over the other. What do you think? It’s time you really get in engage in the political process to make sure your interest is being address. It’s time you start holding your city and state officials accountable. The Politicians believe your vote is up for sale and will play you like a game of Monopoly.
If a Politian want your vote you should make them earn it and not by speeches, shaking hands or kissing babies, but by passing laws that will benefit you and your community. Lets stay diligent, focus and our eyes open, so we can be ready to call out the Politian’s and let them know our vote is not for sale.
